The Capital Club of Washington, D.C. was founded in 1980. The Club has evolved and grown during the past 40 years into a nationally recognized social and philanthropic organization. To fulfill our philanthropic goals, The Club has developed several annual, signature events which have become well-known in the Washington, D.C. region.

Central to our mission, The Capital Club of Washington, D.C. has proudly achieved and maintained status as a nonprofit 501(c) organization. During our 40 years of existence, The Club has made a commitment to supporting charities and causes of local and national importance. The Club most notably supports the Trey Lefler Memorial Scholarship Fund, which benefits students at Sewanee: The University of the South.
